2. Setup
2.1. Battery Installation
The flash unit requires four (4) AA/LR6 alkaline batteries for operation. Open the battery compartment located on the main flash unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

2.2. Attaching Adapter Rings
Seven (7) adapter rings are included to ensure compatibility with various lens sizes: 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, and 77mm. Select the adapter ring that matches the filter thread size of your camera lens. Screw the appropriate adapter ring onto the front of your lens.
2.3. Mounting the Flash Unit and Ring Light
- Slide the main flash unit onto your camera's hot shoe and secure it firmly.
- Attach the Macro Ring Lite head to the adapter ring on your lens. Ensure it clicks into place or is securely fastened.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Power On/Off
Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the main flash unit to power the device on or off. The large LCD display will illuminate, showing current settings.
3.2. Flash Modes and Adjustments
- TTL Mode: The flash automatically adjusts its output based on the camera's light evaluation system, providing natural light for various shooting conditions.
- Manual Adjustment: Use the control dial to set the flash ratio control from 1:8 to 1:1 to 8 in 1/2-stop increments. This allows for precise brightness output and flexible control.
- Left and Right Flash Function: The unit supports individual or combined firing of the two flash tubes. This feature allows for creating a three-dimensional effect on your subject by adjusting the light from the left and right sides.
- AF Assist Lamp: The built-in AF assist lamp helps the camera achieve focus in low-light conditions.
- Flash Exposure Compensation: Adjust flash exposure compensation manually in 1/3-stop increments to fine-tune lighting.

3.3. Optical Transmission and Multiple Flash
The flash supports optical transmission for master and slave modes, enabling different flash modes and combinations with other compatible flash units.

3.4. Power-Saving Mode
To conserve battery life, the unit will enter sleeping mode after 60 seconds of no operation. Press any key to wake it up.
