Using the Burners

  1. Place Cookware: Position your desired pot or pan centrally on the heating element.
  2. Adjust Temperature: Turn the corresponding knob for the desired burner to select a temperature setting from 1 to 11. The indicator light will illuminate when the burner is active.

  3. Heating Process: The cast-iron burners will begin to heat up. Note that cast-iron hot plates take a few minutes to reach the desired temperature. The unit is equipped with a thermostat that automatically cycles the power on and off to maintain the set temperature. This is normal operation and ensures consistent heat.
  4. Cooking: Cook food as desired. The hot plate is suitable for various tasks such as warming sauces, scrambling eggs, grilling cheese, preparing soups, pasta, and vegetables.

Maintenance and Cleaning
