6. Care and Maintenance
6.1 General Cleaning
- Fabric Care: The Aurora Grey Textile fabric is breathable and durable. For general cleaning, use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and loose debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild fabric cleaner diluted according to its instructions. Test on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Pet Hair: Pet hair may cling to the fabric. Use a lint roller or a damp cloth to effectively remove it.

6.2 Structural Maintenance
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and connections, especially the legs and backrest attachment points, to ensure they remain tight. Tighten if necessary.
- Mechanism Lubrication: If the reclining mechanism becomes stiff or noisy over time, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving parts.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chair does not recline smoothly. | Mechanism obstruction or lack of lubrication. | Check for any objects obstructing the mechanism. Apply silicone lubricant to moving parts if needed. |
| Footrest does not stay extended or retracts quickly. | Insufficient or uneven pressure applied during recline. | Ensure full and even pressure is applied to the backrest when reclining. The mechanism requires consistent pressure to hold certain positions. |
| Chair feels wobbly after assembly. | Loose leg screws or backrest connection. | Verify all four legs are securely tightened. Ensure the backrest is fully engaged and clicked into its slots. |
