Setup

1. Unpacking and Checking Contents

  1. Insert the battery pack (NP-BX1) into the camera.
  2. Connect the camera to the AC Adaptor using the Micro USB cable.
  3. Plug the AC Adaptor into a wall outlet. The charge lamp will light up.
  4. Charging is complete when the charge lamp turns off.

Note: Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Battery life is approximately 330 shots or 165 minutes of recording.

3. Inserting a Memory Card

Open the memory card/battery cover on the bottom of the camera. Insert a compatible Micro SD card (up to 64 GB supported) into the slot until it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.

4. Attaching the Wrist Strap

Thread the strap adapter through the strap eyelet on the camera, then attach the wrist strap to the adapter. This helps prevent accidental drops.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button located on the top of the camera to power it on or off. The lens will extend upon power-on.

2. Using the Lens and Zoom

The camera features a 24-200mm (35mm equivalent) ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T lens. Use the zoom lever around the shutter button to adjust the focal length. Rotate the control ring around the lens for manual focus or other assigned functions.
