1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present.

1.2 Battery Installation

The blaster requires 3 AAA alkaline batteries for the illumination feature. Demo batteries are included.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the blaster.
  2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

1.3 Assembling the Blaster

The Illuminator Barrel can be attached to the front of the blaster.

  1. Align the barrel extension with the front attachment point of the blaster.
  2. Push the barrel extension firmly until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the release button (if present) or pull the barrel extension off.

2. Operating the Blaster

2.1 Loading Darts

The Shadow ICS-6 blaster features a breech-load design with an internal clip system that holds up to 6 darts.

  1. Open the breech by pulling back the priming handle.
  2. Insert one dart at a time into the internal clip system. Ensure darts are fully seated.
  3. Close the breech by pushing the priming handle forward until it locks.

2.2 Firing the Blaster

Once darts are loaded and the blaster is primed:

  1. Aim the blaster at a safe target.
  2. Pull the trigger to fire one dart.
  3. To fire another dart, repeat the loading and priming steps.

2.3 Illumination Feature

The blaster features a clear housing that illuminates when the light activator is pressed. This allows for both stealth and illuminated modes.

  • Stealth Mode: Keep the blaster clear (lights off) for discreet action.
  • Illuminated Mode: Press the light activator button to illuminate the blaster, useful for low-light environments. The attached Illuminator Barrel will also light up.

3. Maintenance

3.1 General Care

  • Keep the blaster clean by wiping it with a dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse in water.
  • Store the blaster in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Remove batteries if the blaster will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

3.2 Dart Care

  • Use only official Nerf darts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect darts for damage before use. Damaged darts can affect performance and potentially jam the blaster.
  • Do not modify darts.

4. Troubleshooting
