4. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM). It is suitable for swimming and snorkeling but not for scuba diving. Do not operate buttons underwater. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods, as this can affect battery life and accuracy.
- Impact: Protect the watch from strong impacts and shocks.
- Battery Replacement: When the digital display dims or the watch stops, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
5. Troubleshooting
- Watch not running / Digital display blank: The battery may be depleted. Replace the battery.
- Incorrect time display: Re-set the digital and analog time as per Section 2.
- Buttons not responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not specified for this model). If issues persist, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be required.
- Fogging under crystal: This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and have the watch inspected by a professional.
