2.1 Key Features

The package includes the main range hood unit, a ducting pipe for ducted installation, and various mounting accessories such as screws and wall anchors. For ductless operation, a CACF003 carbon filter (sold separately) is required.
3. Installation
3.1 Pre-Installation Considerations
Before installation, ensure you have all necessary tools and components. Verify the wall structure can support the weight of the range hood. Maintain appropriate clearance between the cooking surface and the bottom of the range hood as specified in local building codes and this manual.

3.2 Mounting the Range Hood
- Mark the mounting points on the wall according to the provided template.
- Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall.
- Carefully lift the range hood and hang it onto the mounting bracket.
- Secure the hood to the wall using additional screws as indicated in the full installation guide.
3.3 Ducting Options
The CAS75308 can be installed in two configurations:
- Ducted (Extraction) Mode: Air is expelled outside through a ducting pipe. Connect the provided ducting pipe to the exhaust outlet of the hood and route it to an external vent.
- Ductless (Recirculation) Mode: Air is filtered through an activated carbon filter and recirculated back into the kitchen. For this mode, you must install a CACF003 carbon filter (sold separately).

3.4 Carbon Filter Installation (Ductless Mode)
If operating in ductless mode, the CACF003 carbon filter must be installed. Refer to the video below for detailed instructions.

4. Operation
The range hood features a soft-touch control panel for easy operation of its functions.

4.1 Power On/Off
Press the Power button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) to turn the range hood on or off.
4.2 Fan Speed Adjustment
The range hood offers multiple fan speeds to suit different cooking needs. Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the fan speed. The current speed level will be displayed on the panel.

4.3 Dimmable LED Lighting
Press the Light button (usually indicated by a light bulb icon) to turn the lights on or off. Press again to cycle through dimmable light levels.

4.4 Timer Function
The timer function allows the hood to operate for a set period before automatically shutting off. Press the Timer button (usually indicated by a clock icon) repeatedly to select the desired shut-off time.
- Press 1 time: Shut off 5 minutes later.
- Press 2 times: Shut off 10 minutes later.
- Press 3 times: Shut off 15 minutes later.
- Press 4 times: Shut off 20 minutes later.
- Press 5 times: Cancel the timer function.

4.5 Clean & Fresh Function
The Clean & Fresh function activates the fan at level 1 for 5 minutes per hour over a 24-hour period to remove excess moisture and odors, maintaining a fresh kitchen environment. To activate this function, turn on the cooker hood, press the timer button for 3 seconds, then press the power button.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.
5.1 Cleaning Grease Filters
The 5-layer aluminum mesh filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to prevent grease buildup and maintain suction efficiency. The filters are dishwasher safe.

5.2 Replacing Carbon Filters (Ductless Mode Only)
For ductless installations, the activated carbon filters (CACF003) need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to the installation video in Section 3.4 for removal and replacement instructions.
5.3 General Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the range hood with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the stainless steel finish.
