1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Anker PowerWave 7.5 Stand Wireless Charger. This Qi-certified wireless charging stand is designed to provide efficient and convenient charging for your compatible devices. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and optimal performance.

3. Setup Instructions

1. Connect the provided 6 ft PowerLine Micro USB Cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the PowerWave 7.5 Stand.
2. Connect the other end of the Micro USB cable to a Quick Charge 3.0 wall adapter (not included). A Quick Charge 3.0 adapter is required to enable Fast Charge Mode.
3. Plug the wall adapter into a power outlet. The LED indicator on the stand will light up solid blue for 3 seconds, then turn off, indicating it is connected to power and ready for use.

Note: Do not use Apple's 5V / 1A stock charger or a computer's USB port to power your Anker wireless charger, as this may result in slow charging or no charging.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Placing Your Device

Place your Qi-enabled smartphone on the center of the PowerWave 7.5 Stand. The stand supports both portrait and landscape orientations, allowing you to watch videos or use facial recognition while charging.

4.2 Case Compatibility

The PowerWave 7.5 Stand can charge directly through protective cases up to 5 mm thick. This includes most rubber, plastic, and TPU cases. Magnetic and metal attachments or cards will prevent charging and should be removed before placing your device on the stand.

4.3 LED Indicator

The LED indicator on the front of the stand provides status information:

• Solid Blue (3 seconds, then off): Connected to power.
• Solid Blue: Device is charging.
• Flashing Blue: Metal obstruction detected. Remove any metal objects or magnetic attachments.
• Flashing Green: Incompatible adapter or cable connected. Ensure you are using a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter and the provided Micro USB cable.

4.4 Charging Modes

The PowerWave 7.5 Stand supports different charging modes:

• Fast Charge Mode (7.5W for iPhone): Requires a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 adapter. Compatible with iPhone SE, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, XS Max, XR, XS, X, 8, 8 Plus. (iOS 11.2 or later required for fast charging).
• Fast Charge Mode (10W for Samsung): Requires a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 adapter. Compatible with Galaxy S20, S10, S9+, S9, S8, S8+, S7 edge, S7, S6 edge+, Note 10, Note 9, Note 8, Note 7.
• Standard Charge Mode (5W): Using a 5V/2A adapter. Compatible with all Qi-enabled phones and devices, including Pixel 3 / Pixel 3XL (may display "Charging slowly").

4.5 Charging Performance

The PowerWave 7.5 Stand is designed to charge compatible devices up to 30% faster than standard wireless chargers, when used with a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Charging

• Ensure the PowerWave 7.5 Stand is properly connected to a power source using the provided Micro USB cable and a Quick Charge 3.0 wall adapter.
• Verify that your device is Qi-enabled and compatible with wireless charging.
• Reposition your device on the center of the charging stand.
• Remove any metal objects, magnetic attachments, or credit cards from your phone case or between your phone and the charger.
• Check if your phone case is thicker than 5 mm. If so, remove the case for charging.

6.2 Slow Charging

• Ensure you are using a Quick Charge 3.0 wall adapter. Standard 5V/1A adapters or computer USB ports will result in slower charging speeds.
• Verify that your device supports fast wireless charging.
• Close any unnecessary background applications on your phone.

6.3 LED Indicator Flashing Blue/Green

• Flashing Blue: Indicates a metal obstruction. Remove any foreign objects from the charging area.
• Flashing Green: Indicates an incompatible power adapter or cable. Use a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter and the original Anker Micro USB cable.
