- Slide the cover downwards and lift it off.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
2. Programming the Remote
To control your devices, the universal remote must be programmed with the correct codes. A comprehensive code library is included with your product. Refer to the physical instruction manual for specific codes for your devices.
General steps for programming (refer to your included code library for detailed instructions):
- Turn on the device you wish to program (e.g., TV, DVD player).
- Press and hold the SETUP button on the universal remote until the red indicator light stays on.
- Press and release the device button you want to program (e.g., TV, CBL, DVD, AUX). The red indicator light will blink once and then remain on.
- Enter the 4-digit code for your device from the code library. After entering the last digit, the red indicator light should turn off.
- Point the remote at the device and press the POWER button. If the device turns off, the programming was successful.
