4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Scope

  1. Ensure your firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Attach the included mounting rings to your firearm's Picatinny rail. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Place the scope into the lower halves of the rings.
  4. Attach the upper halves of the rings, but do not fully tighten the screws yet.
  5. Adjust the scope's position for proper eye relief. This is the distance between your eye and the eyepiece when the scope is mounted.
  6. Ensure the reticle is level. Use a scope leveling tool if available.
  7. Once eye relief and reticle level are set, tighten the ring screws evenly and securely. Do not overtighten.

4.2 Initial Focus Adjustment

The eyepiece allows for diopter adjustment to match your individual eyesight. Point the scope at a plain, bright background (like a wall or the sky) and rotate the eyepiece until the reticle appears sharp and clear without looking through the scope for more than a few seconds at a time to avoid eye strain.

5. Operating the Scope

5.1 Magnification Adjustment

The magnification ring is located near the eyepiece. Rotate this ring to adjust the magnification from 4x to 16x, allowing you to zoom in or out on your target as needed.

5.2 Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The scope features tactical turrets for precise adjustments. The top turret adjusts elevation (vertical movement), and the side turret adjusts windage (horizontal movement). Each click of the turret corresponds to a specific change in the point of impact, typically 1/4 MOA per click. Remove the protective caps before making adjustments. Turn the turrets in the indicated direction (UP/DOWN for elevation, L/R for windage) to zero your scope.

Note: After zeroing, replace the protective caps to prevent accidental adjustments and protect the turrets from damage.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Lenses

To clean the lenses, first use a soft brush or compressed air to remove any loose dust or debris. Then, use a clean microfiber lens cloth and a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion from the center outwards. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the lens coatings.

6.2 General Care and Storage

  • Always use the included flip-up lens caps when the scope is not in use to protect the lenses.
  • Store the scope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Periodically check all mounting screws to ensure they remain tight.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the scope to severe impacts, even though it is shockproof, excessive force can cause damage.
