Setup
Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully unpack all components and verify that the following items are included:
- Camera Body
- Lens (XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ)
- Strap
- Battery
- Charger

- U.S.A. Warranty
Attaching the Lens
- Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear lens cap from the lens.
- Align the white dot on the lens with the white dot on the camera body.
- Mount the lens by rotating it clockwise until it clicks into place.
Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
- Open the battery/memory card cover on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the battery with the correct orientation until it locks into place.
- Insert an SDXC memory card into the slot until it clicks.
- Close the cover securely.
Charging the Battery
Connect the camera to the charger using the supplied USB cable. The charging indicator will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
Operating the Camera
Power On/Off
To power on the camera, slide the power switch located on the top plate. To power off, slide it again.
Basic Photography Modes
The Fujifilm X-T100 offers various shooting modes:
- SR+ AUTO: Automatically optimizes settings for the scene.
- P (Program AE): Camera sets aperture and shutter speed for optimal exposure.
- A (Aperture Priority AE): You set the aperture, camera sets shutter speed.
- S (Shutter Priority AE): You set the shutter speed, camera sets aperture.
- M (Manual): You control both aperture and shutter speed.
Using the Electronic Viewfinder (EVF)
The high-resolution (2.36 million dots) electronic viewfinder provides a clear and accurate preview of your shot. Bring the camera to your eye to activate the EVF.
Using the Tilting LCD Monitor
The 3-inch tilting LCD monitor (1,040,000 dots) can be adjusted for various shooting angles, including high and low angles. It is also touch-sensitive for precise AF positioning and menu navigation.
Autofocus System
The camera features a Phase Detection Autofocus system with 91 autofocus points. You can select focus points manually via the touch screen or allow the camera to select automatically.
Film Simulation Modes
Fujifilm's renowned film simulation modes allow you to apply various color and tonal characteristics to your images, mimicking classic film stocks. Access these modes through the camera's menu.
Video Recording
The X-T100 supports Full HD (1080p) video recording at up to 60 frames per second (fps) and 4K video recording at 15 fps.
For optimal video quality and smoother playback, Full HD is generally recommended.
The camera has a built-in stereo microphone. An external 2.5mm microphone jack is also available for enhanced audio recording.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Camera and Lens
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body.
- For the lens, use a lens brush or blower to remove dust, then gently wipe with a microfiber lens cloth. Avoid touching the lens surface with your fingers.
- Do not use organic solvents or strong cleaning agents.
Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures.
- Fully charge batteries before extended storage.
Storage
When storing the camera for extended periods, remove the battery and store it separately. Keep the camera in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and high humidity.
