1. Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
• Do not immerse the power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a firm, flat, and stable surface.
• Ensure the frother is completely dry before placing it on the power base.
• This appliance is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature for safety.

2. Product Components

The CHINYA Milk Frother package includes the following items:

• 1 x NAUTOR Milk Frother Unit: The main stainless steel pitcher with non-stick interior.
• 1 x Power Base: The detachable base that supplies power to the frother.
• 2 x Whisks:
  • Frothing Whisk: Used for creating hot or cold milk foam.
  • Heating Whisk: Used for simply heating milk without frothing.
• 1 x Cleaning Brush: A small brush designed for easy cleaning of the frother's interior.
• 1 x User Manual: This instruction guide.

3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the frother and the whisks with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the frother and the power base with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface near a power outlet.
4. Whisk Selection: Choose the appropriate whisk for your desired function (frothing or heating) and securely place it onto the pin at the bottom of the frother's interior.

4. Operating Instructions

The CHINYA Milk Frother offers three distinct modes for preparing milk:

1. Add Milk: Pour cold milk into the frother. Observe the internal markings:
   • For Hot or Cold Froth (Cappuccinos, Macchiatos): Fill up to the lower "MAX" line (approx. 5.1oz/150ml).
   • For Heating Milk (Lattes, Flat Whites): Fill up to the upper "MAX" line (approx. 10.2oz/300ml).
   • Ensure milk is above the "MIN" line (approx. 2.5oz/75ml).

   Recommendation: For best frothing results, use whole milk (fat content > 3%).

2. Close Lid: Place the lid securely on the frother.
3. Place on Base: Position the frother unit onto the power base.

   • Hot Froth (Red Light): For rich, creamy hot foam. Ensure the frothing whisk is installed. Press the power button once. The red indicator light will illuminate. Operation takes approximately 70-120 seconds.
   • Cold Froth (Blue Light): For cold foam. Ensure the frothing whisk is installed. Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. The blue indicator light will illuminate. Operation takes approximately 120 seconds.
   • Warm Milk (Red Light): For heated milk without significant foam. Ensure the heating whisk is installed. Press the power button once. The red indicator light will illuminate. Operation takes approximately 140-190 seconds.
5. Completion: The frother will automatically shut off when the cycle is complete, and the indicator light will turn off.
6. Serve: Carefully remove the frother from the base and pour the frothed or heated milk. The jug spout design facilitates smooth pouring.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CHINYA Milk Frother. Always clean the frother after each use.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the power base from the wall outlet before cleaning.
2. Cool Down: Allow the frother to cool down completely before cleaning.
3. Remove Whisk: Carefully remove the whisk from the bottom of the frother.
4. Clean Interior: The frother features a non-stick interior. Rinse the interior with warm water immediately after use. For thorough cleaning, use a small amount of mild dish soap and the provided cleaning brush. Gently scrub the interior, paying attention to the heating element area.
5. Clean Whisks: Wash the whisks with warm soapy water and rinse well.
6. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the frother and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
7. Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing. Do not immerse the frother unit or power base in water.

The CHINYA Milk Frother comes with a 12-MONTH WARRANTY from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accident, alteration, neglect, or unauthorized repair.
