4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
The device features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, or when the low battery indicator appears, charge the device using the provided USB cable.
- Connect the micro-USB end of the charging cable to the USB port on the side of the blood pressure monitor.
- Connect the standard USB end to a compatible 5V USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port, power bank).
- The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes less than 2 hours.

4.2 Attaching the Arm Cuff
Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings.
- Ensure the cuff is placed directly above your elbow, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow joint.
- The air tube should run down the center of your arm.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your bare upper arm. It should be tight enough so that two fingers can barely fit between the cuff and your arm.
- For left arm measurement, the tube should be centered. For right arm measurement, the tube should be on the left side of your arm.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Before Measurement
- Sit in a relaxed position with your feet flat on the floor and your arm resting on a table. Do not cross your legs.
- Ensure the cuff is correctly positioned on your arm.
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
5.2 Taking a Measurement
- Press the "START/STOP" button to turn on the device. The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure (SYS), diastolic pressure (DIA), and pulse rate (PUL) will be displayed on the LCD screen.
- The device will automatically store the reading in the selected user group's memory.
- To turn off the device, press the "START/STOP" button again, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

5.3 User Selection and Memory Function
The device supports two user groups, each storing up to 99 measurements.
- To switch between User 1 and User 2, press the "SET" button when the device is off.
- To view past measurements, press the "MEM" button when the device is off. Repeatedly pressing "MEM" will cycle through stored readings.
- The device also displays the average of the last three measurements.
The time between two measurements should be at least 5 minutes.
6. Maintenance
- Clean the device and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Store the device in its protective pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
