4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the base unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Plug the small end of the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the base unit.
  4. Plug the large end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Place the handset on the base unit to charge. The display will indicate charging. Allow at least 15-20 hours for the initial charge.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Press the TALK button, then dial the desired phone number.
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, press the TALK button.
  • To End a Call: Press the END button or place the handset back on the base unit.

5.2. Caller ID Display

The LCD display will show the incoming caller's number and name (if available in your phonebook or provided by your service provider) before you answer the call.

5.3. 2-Way Speaker Phone

During a call, press the SPEAKER button to activate the hands-free speakerphone function. Press it again to switch back to the handset earpiece. Use the volume control buttons to adjust the speaker volume.

5.4. Phonebook
