1. Product Overview

The Moukey MEK-200 is a full-size 61-key electronic keyboard piano designed for beginners and experienced players alike. 2. What's in the Box

Your Moukey Keyboard Piano MEK-200 package includes the following components:

  • 61-Key Electronic Keyboard Piano (MEK-200)

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Moukey Keyboard Piano:

  1. Assemble the Keyboard Stand: The adjustable X-braced stand is designed for easy assembly. Secure all connections firmly to ensure stability. Adjust the height to a comfortable playing position using the locking mechanisms on the stand.
  2. Place the Keyboard: Carefully place the Moukey MEK-200 keyboard onto the assembled stand. Ensure it is centered and stable.
  3. Set up the Bench: Unfold the X-braced collapsible stool and place it in front of the keyboard. The padded seat provides comfort for extended playing sessions.
  4. Attach the Music Stand: Insert the sheet music holder into the designated slots on the top of the keyboard. This provides a convenient place for your sheet music or a tablet.
  5. Apply Keyboard Stickers (Optional): For beginners, the included keyboard stickers can be applied to the keys to help identify notes. Refer to the sticker sheet for proper placement.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power supply adapter into the DC IN port on the back of the keyboard and then into a standard electrical outlet.
  7. Connect Headphones/Microphone (Optional):
    • To practice privately, plug the included headphones into the PHONES output jack. The built-in speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
    • To sing along while playing, connect a microphone (not included) to the MIC jack.

4. Operating the Keyboard

The Moukey MEK-200 offers a variety of functions accessible via its intuitive control panel and LED screen.

4.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control

  • To power on the keyboard, press the POWER button located on the left side of the control panel.
  • Adjust the overall volume using the MASTER VOLUME knob.

4.2 Voices and Rhythms

The keyboard features 300 preset voices and 300 rhythms. Use the dedicated VOICE and RHYTHM buttons, along with the numeric keypad or arrow buttons, to select your desired sound or beat.

4.3 Teaching Modes

The MEK-200 includes teaching functions to assist beginners. Refer to the manual's specific instructions for activating and utilizing the "One Key Teaching" and "Follow Teaching" modes displayed on the LED screen.

4.4 Recording and Playback

Use the RECORD function to capture your performances and the PLAYBACK function to listen to them. This allows for self-assessment and creative composition.

4.5 Percussion Sounds

The keyboard features 8 dedicated percussion pads for adding drum sounds to your music. These can be played independently or integrated with rhythms.

4.6 Keyboard Split Function

The keyboard supports a split function, allowing different voices to be assigned to different sections of the keyboard simultaneously. This is useful for playing bass lines with one hand and melodies with the other.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Moukey Keyboard Piano:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard and stand. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. For keys, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry one.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and excessive humidity. Consider covering it with a dust cover to protect it from dust and debris.
  • Handling: Always handle the keyboard with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts. When moving, ensure the stand is properly disassembled or secured.
  • Power Supply: Use only the provided power adapter. Disconnect the power supply during electrical storms or when the unit will be unused for extended periods.
