2. Important Safety Instructions

Read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before operating this product. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the pump's rating label (230V).
  • Do not operate the pump if the power cord or plug is damaged.
  • Never lift or carry the pump by its power cord.
  • Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water during operation to prevent overheating.
  • Keep hands, feet, and clothing away from the pump's inlet and outlet during operation.
  • Do not use the pump for flammable, corrosive, or explosive liquids.
  • Disconnect the pump from the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the pump for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, do not use the pump and contact customer support.

3.2 Connecting the Discharge Hose

  1. Attach a suitable discharge hose to the pump's outlet connector. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks.
  2. The pump is designed to accept various hose sizes. Use the appropriate adapter if necessary.

3.3 Positioning the Pump

  • Place the pump on a stable, flat surface at the bottom of the water body you intend to drain.
  • Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water before connecting it to the power supply.
  • The float switch must be able to move freely to ensure automatic operation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Pump

  1. Ensure the pump is correctly positioned and fully submerged in water.
  2. Verify that the discharge hose is securely attached and directed to a suitable drainage area.
  3. Plug the pump into a grounded electrical outlet (230V).
  4. The pump will start automatically once the water level rises sufficiently to activate the float switch.

4.2 Float Switch Operation

The integrated float switch controls the pump's automatic on/off function based on water level. When the water level rises, the float switch lifts, activating the pump. As the water level drops, the float switch lowers, and the pump will automatically switch off when the water reaches a predetermined low level.

4.3 Stopping the Pump

The pump will stop automatically when the water level drops below the float switch's activation point. To manually stop the pump or when drainage is complete, unplug the pump from the electrical outlet.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your submersible pump. Always disconnect the pump from the power supply before performing any maintenance.

5.1 Cleaning the Pump

  • After each use, especially when pumping dirty water, rinse the pump thoroughly with clean water.
  • Inspect the pump inlet and impeller for any debris (leaves, stones, etc.) and remove them carefully.
  • Ensure the float switch mechanism is clean and moves freely.

5.2 Storage

  • Before storing, ensure the pump is clean and dry.
  • Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Coil the power cord neatly to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Pump does not start. No power supply.
Float switch not activated.
Impeller blocked.
Check power connection and circuit breaker.
Ensure water level is high enough to lift the float switch.
Disconnect power, then inspect and clear the impeller.
Pump runs but no water is discharged.Discharge hose blocked or kinked.
Water level too low.
Air lock.
Check and clear the discharge hose.
Ensure pump is fully submerged.
Lift and lower the pump slightly to release trapped air.
Pump stops unexpectedly.Float switch lowered (water level too low).
Overheating protection activated.
Check water level.
Disconnect power, allow pump to cool down, then check for blockages.
Reduced pumping performance.Partial blockage in inlet or impeller.
Worn components.
Disconnect power, inspect and clean inlet/impeller.
Contact customer support if performance does not improve.
