  1. Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Installation: (Note: HDD is not included.)
    • Unscrew and remove the top cover of the XVR unit.
    • Connect the SATA data and power cables from the XVR motherboard to the HDD.
    • Secure the HDD to the bottom of the XVR chassis using the provided screws.
    • Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.
  2. Video Input: Connect your HDCVI, AHD, TVI, or CVBS cameras to the BNC "VIDEO IN" ports (1).
  3. Audio Input/Output: Connect audio sources to "AUDIO IN" (2) and audio output devices to "AUDIO OUT" (3) via RCA connectors.
  4. Display Connection: Connect a monitor to the "HDMI Interface" (4) or "VGA Interface" (9) using appropriate cables.
  5. Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from the "Network Interface" (5) to your router or network switch.
  6. USB Peripherals: Connect the included USB mouse to one of the "USB Interface" ports (7). Additional USB devices can be connected as needed.
  7. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power adapter to the "DC 12V Power Input" (8) and then plug it into a power outlet.
  8. Power On: Flip the "Power Switch" (10) to the ON position. The XVR will begin to boot up.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Initial Setup Wizard

Upon the first boot, the XVR will guide you through an initial setup wizard. This typically includes setting up a password, configuring network settings (DHCP is recommended for ease of use), and initializing the HDD.

4.2 Live View and Recording

Once configured, the XVR will display the live view from connected cameras. You can navigate through channels using the mouse. Recording can be configured for continuous, motion detection, or scheduled modes via the system menu.

4.3 Playback and Backup

Access recorded footage through the playback menu. You can search by time, event, or channel. Footage can be backed up to a USB flash drive connected to the USB port.
