Maintenance
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops functioning. Always replace both AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
Cleaning
To clean the remote control, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the remote.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Ensure batteries are installed correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
- Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
- Ensure you are within a reasonable range and pointing the remote directly at the TV.
- Specific buttons not working:
- This remote is designed to replicate the original remote's functions. If a specific button does not work, ensure your TV model supports that function with its original remote.
- Clean the remote control as described in the Maintenance section, as dirt or debris might interfere with button contacts.
