3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

The FS-GT5 transmitter requires either 4 AA batteries or a 2S LiPo battery for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting AA batteries.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the transmitter.
  2. Slide open the battery cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries or connect a compatible 2S LiPo battery.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

3.2 Receiver Installation and Binding

The FS-BS6 receiver is a 6-channel unit with a built-in gyroscope. It weighs approximately 8g and measures 30mm x 22mm x 16mm. Binding establishes a secure communication link between the transmitter and receiver.

  1. Ensure the transmitter is powered off.
  2. Connect the binding plug to the BIND/VCC port on the FS-BS6 receiver.
  3. Power on the receiver (e.g., connect to an ESC or external battery). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly.
  4. While holding the BIND button on the transmitter, power on the transmitter.
  5. Release the BIND button on the transmitter once the receiver's LED becomes solid, indicating successful binding.
  6. Power off both the receiver and transmitter.
  7. Remove the binding plug from the receiver.
  8. Power on the transmitter first, then the receiver. The receiver's LED should be solid, confirming the connection.

4.1 Transmitter Interface Overview
