This manual provides instructions for the UpStart Components replacement remote control, designed to be compatible with Insignia NS42E760A12 HDTVs and function like the original NSRC02A12 remote control. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation.

3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or outwards to open it.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the remote control. Always use new batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.

4. Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use with compatible Insignia TVs. No programming is required.

• CCD: Activates Closed Captioning.
• ZOOM: Adjusts screen zoom level.
• SLEEP: Sets a sleep timer for the TV.
• CH-LIST: Displays the channel list.
• PICTURE: Accesses picture settings.
• AUDIO: Accesses audio settings.
• Playback Controls (◀◀, ▶, ⏸, ■, ▶▶): Control media playback if supported by the TV and source.

5.1. Battery Replacement
