Setup and Assembly
Your La-Z-Boy Delano chair requires assembly. All necessary hardware and step-by-step instructions are included in the box. It is recommended to have a helper for easier assembly.
Assembly Steps:
- Unpack all components and verify against the parts list provided in the packaging.
- Attach the casters to the chair base.
- Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center of the base.
- Attach the seat plate mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion.
- Connect the backrest to the seat cushion using the provided hardware.
- Attach the armrests to both the backrest and seat cushion.
- Place the assembled chair onto the gas lift cylinder.

Operating Instructions
The La-Z-Boy Delano chair offers several adjustable features to customize your seating experience for optimal comfort and support.
Adjustable Height:
To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side of the chair, beneath the seat. Lift the lever while applying or releasing weight from the seat to move it up or down to your desired position. Release the lever to lock the height.

Recline and Tilt Tension:
The chair features a recline function for personalized comfort. To recline, locate the tab on the left side of the chair, beneath the seat. Pull the tab outwards to unlock the recline mechanism. Lean back to your desired angle. To adjust the tension of the recline, twist the knob located at the front of the seat mechanism. Turn clockwise for more tension (harder to recline) and counter-clockwise for less tension (easier to recline). Push the tab inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.

360° Swivel and Casters:
The chair is equipped with smooth 360° dual-wheel casters, allowing for easy movement across most carpeted and hard floor surfaces. The swivel function provides flexibility and accessibility within your workspace.
