Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Key Care: Keep keys clean and dry. Do not force the key if it feels stuck; ensure it is fully inserted and aligned before turning.
  • Storage: Store the lock box in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Problem: The key does not turn or the lock is stuck.
Solution: Ensure the key is fully inserted into the keyhole. Wiggle the key gently while attempting to turn it. Do not force the key, as this may damage the lock or the key itself. Check if any debris is obstructing the keyhole. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Problem: The lid does not close properly.
Solution: Check for any items inside the box that might be preventing the lid from closing completely. Ensure the removable tray is seated correctly. Verify that the hinges are not bent or damaged.
Problem: The box appears flimsy or insecure.
Note: This lock box is designed for general security and organization of items like medications. It is not a high-security safe. While it deters casual access, it is not impenetrable to determined individuals with tools. For higher security needs, consider a different type of security container.
