Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | Power adapter not connected or faulty outlet. | Ensure power adapter is securely plugged into the unit and a working wall outlet. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Alarm switch is OFF; alarm time not set correctly; alarm volume too low. | Ensure the ALARM switch is ON. Verify the alarm setting wand is at the correct time. Increase alarm volume using ALM VOL buttons. |
| Bluetooth device cannot pair. | Unit not in pairing mode; device too far; previously paired with another device. | Ensure the unit is in Bluetooth mode and the Bluetooth icon is flashing. Move your device closer. Disconnect from other Bluetooth devices. |
| FM radio static or poor reception. | Weak signal; antenna not extended. | Adjust the position of the unit or extend the FM antenna (if applicable). Try tuning to a stronger station. |
| Backlight does not stay on. | This model features a momentary backlight. | The backlight is designed to illuminate briefly when the SNOOZE / LIGHT button is pressed, not to remain continuously lit. This is normal operation. |
| Alarm sounds at both AM and PM. | Analog alarm mechanism does not differentiate AM/PM. | This is a characteristic of the analog alarm setting. To avoid the PM alarm, slide the ALARM switch to "OFF" after your morning alarm, and then back to "ON" before you go to sleep. |
