Introduction

The ION Block Rocker Plus is a powerful, ultra-portable sound system designed for high-fidelity wireless sound in various environments. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speaker to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the speaker's internal battery. Connect the included Power/Charging Cable to the speaker's power input on the rear panel and then to a power outlet. The charge indicator will illuminate during charging.

2. Powering On/Off

Locate the power button on the control panel. Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.

3. Connecting the Microphone

Plug the microphone cable into the MIC input on the control panel. Adjust the microphone volume using the dedicated MIC volume knob.

4. Connecting Auxiliary Devices

For non-Bluetooth devices, connect them using the 1/8” (3.5 mm) Stereo Aux Cable to the AUX IN port on the control panel.

5. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure your Bluetooth device is within 10 meters (30 feet) of the speaker.
2. Press the Bluetooth button on the speaker's control panel. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
3. On your device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "Block Rocker Plus" from the list of available devices.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid blue.

6. Using the Telescopic Handle and Wheels

Extend the telescopic handle from the rear of the speaker for easy transport. The integrated wheels allow for convenient mobility.

Operating

1. Basic Controls

The control panel features buttons for Play/Pause, Next Track, and Previous Track for Bluetooth audio. Adjust the overall volume using the Master Volume knob.

2. Radio Functions

Press the RADIO button to switch to AM or FM mode. Use the preset buttons (1-6) to save and recall your favorite stations. Tune manually using the track skip buttons.

3. Bass Boost

Press the BASS BOOST button to enhance low-frequency audio output for a richer sound experience.

4. USB Charging

The built-in USB 2.0 port (5V, 1A) can be used to charge your portable devices such as smartphones or tablets. Simply connect your device's USB charging cable to the speaker's USB port.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Instructions

Wipe the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure all ports are free of dust and debris.

2. Battery Care

To maximize battery life, fully charge the speaker before storing it for extended periods. Recharge the battery every 3 months if not in regular use. Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound: Ensure the speaker is powered on, volume is up, and the correct input source (Bluetooth, Aux, Radio) is selected. Check device volume.
• Bluetooth Not Connecting: Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing indicator). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
• Poor Radio Reception: Extend the antenna fully. Try repositioning the speaker to improve signal.
• Short Battery Life: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Battery performance can degrade over time with usage cycles.
• Microphone Issues: Check microphone connection and MIC volume knob. Ensure the microphone is switched on if it has an on/off switch.
