  • Volume + / Next Track: Short press for volume up, long press for next track.

Setup

1. Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your Bluedio T5 headphones. Use the provided USB Type-C charging cable.

  • Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the headphone's charging port.
  • Connect the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  • The LED indicator will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will change (refer to LED indicator section for details).
  • A full charge provides approximately 25 hours of playtime with Bluetooth and ANC active.

2. Pairing via Bluetooth

The Bluedio T5 headphones use Bluetooth 4.2 for a stable wireless connection.

  • Ensure the headphones are turned off.
  • Press and hold the MF Button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  • On your device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  • Select "Bluedio T5" from the list of devices.
  • Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.
  • If a password is required, enter "0000".

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the MF Button until you hear "Power On" and the blue LED flashes.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the MF Button until you hear "Power Off" and the red LED flashes briefly before turning off.

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

The Bluedio T5 features 4-microphone Active Noise Cancelling technology to reduce ambient noise.

  • Turn ANC On: Slide the ANC Switch to the "ON" position. The ANC indicator will light up.
  • Turn ANC Off: Slide the ANC Switch to the "OFF" position. The ANC indicator will turn off.
  • ANC is most effective at reducing continuous low-frequency noise, such as engine hum or air conditioning.

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the MF Button.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume + button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume - button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume + button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume - button.

Hands-Free Calls

The built-in microphone allows for clear hands-free communication. Note: The microphone only works in wireless (Bluetooth) mode.

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the MF Button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the MF Button.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the MF Button.

Wired Mode

You can use the Bluedio T5 as a wired headphone even if the battery is depleted.

  • Connect the 3.5mm end of the audio cable to your audio source.
  • Connect the Type-C end of the audio cable to the headphone's charging/audio port.
  • In wired mode, Bluetooth and ANC functions are typically disabled or operate differently depending on battery level.

Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your headphones.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headphones. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Earmuffs: The earmuffs are detachable for cleaning or replacement. Gently twist counter-clockwise to remove and clockwise to reinstall. If they become loose, a small amount of adhesive can be used to secure them permanently.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the headphones in the provided flocking bag to protect them from dust and scratches.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the headphones frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not in constant use.
  • Comfort: Take off the headphones every 2-3 hours to allow your ears to relax, ensuring better hearing enjoyment and ear protection.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Bluedio T5 headphones, please refer to the following solutions:

  • Bluetooth Disconnect or Cannot Connect:
    • Unpair the headphones from your device, remove the pairing memory, then re-enter pairing mode and pair again.
    • Ensure the headset is within 10 meters (33 feet) of your device.
    • Reset the headphones: Power on the headphones, charge them for about 10 seconds until they power off automatically (LED goes out), then unplug the cable. Power on the headphones again and re-pair.
  • No Sound on One Side:
    • Reset the headphones as described above.
    • Remove the pairing memory from your device and re-pair.
  • Earmuffs Fall Off:
    • The earmuffs are designed to be detachable. You can easily remove and reinstall them by twisting.
    • If they frequently fall off, a small amount of adhesive can be used to secure them permanently.
  • Sound Quality Issues with ANC:
    • Activating ANC may slightly alter the sound profile, particularly affecting mid-bass levels. This is normal for some ANC systems.
    • For optimal sound quality without noise cancellation, ensure the ANC switch is in the "OFF" position.
