1. Introduction

The ProMaster Still Life Studio 2.0 is designed to provide a consistent and well-lit environment for product photography. This self-contained, folding studio features seamless backgrounds and daylight-balanced LED lighting, making it ideal for capturing high-quality images of various objects with ease. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your studio.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all the following items are included in your package:

• 1 Still Life Studio shell (28" x 28" x 28")
• 2 LED light bars
• 1 Diffusion panel
• 4 Swappable backgrounds (colors may vary, typically white, black, grey, blue)

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your ProMaster Still Life Studio 2.0:

1. Unfold the Studio Shell: Carefully unfold the studio shell from its compact carrying case form. The sides will naturally expand. Secure the sides using the integrated Velcro fasteners to form a cube shape.

2. Install LED Light Bars: Locate the two LED light bars. Position them inside the studio, typically at the top front and top rear, or along the top edges. Secure them using the elastic bands or Velcro straps provided within the studio's interior. Ensure the power cables are accessible.
3. Insert Background: Choose one of the four swappable vinyl backgrounds. Insert it into the studio, allowing it to curve gently from the top rear down to the front floor of the studio, creating a seamless infinity curve. Secure the top edge of the background using the clips or Velcro provided at the top rear interior of the studio.

4. Attach Diffusion Panel (Optional): If softer, more diffused lighting is desired, attach the diffusion panel to the top interior of the studio, below the LED lights. This helps to eliminate harsh shadows and create even illumination.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapters for the LED light bars into a standard electrical outlet. Turn on the lights using their respective switches.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Positioning Your Product

Place your item to be photographed in the center of the studio, on the seamless background. Experiment with placement to achieve the desired composition and minimize unwanted reflections.

4.2 Using the Front Opening

The studio features a large front opening for direct access and photography. You can shoot straight through this opening. The front flap can be rolled up and secured, or left down to control light spill.

4.3 Using the Top Opening for Flat Lay Photography

For flat lay photography (shooting from directly above), the studio includes a circular opening on the top panel. Open the flap covering this opening to position your camera directly overhead. This is ideal for items that need to be photographed from a bird's-eye view.

4.4 Adjusting Lighting

The two LED light bars provide bright, daylight-balanced illumination (5600K). You can adjust the position of the light bars slightly within the studio to control the direction and intensity of light on your subject. The diffusion panel can be used to soften shadows and create a more even light spread.

4.5 Swapping Backgrounds

To change the background, simply unclip or unfasten the current background and replace it with another color. Ensure the new background is smoothly curved to avoid creases or lines in your final image.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning the Studio Shell: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces of the studio shell with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Cleaning Backgrounds: The vinyl backgrounds are durable and easy to clean. Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water to remove dust or smudges. Ensure they are completely dry before storing.
• LED Light Bars: Keep the LED light bars free from dust. Do not attempt to disassemble them.
• Storage: When not in use, fold the studio back into its compact carrying case. Store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prolong its lifespan.
