2. Safety Information

  • Ensure the power is turned off at the main switch before installation or removal of the smart socket or light bulb.
  • This device is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to water, moisture, or high humidity.
  • Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating of 60 watts for the connected light bulb.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the device. This will void the warranty.

4. Product Overview

The AICase Smart WiFi Light Socket allows for remote control of your lighting. It features a standard E27/E26 screw base for compatibility with most common light fixtures and bulbs. The device connects to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, enabling control through a smartphone application and integration with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

5. Setup Instructions

5.1. App Download and Registration

  1. Download the "Smart Life" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Register an account or log in if you already have one.

5.2. Hardware Installation

  1. Turn off the power to the light fixture at the circuit breaker before proceeding.
  2. Screw the AICase Smart WiFi Light Socket into your existing E27/E26 light fixture.
  3. Screw your standard E27/E26 light bulb into the AICase Smart WiFi Light Socket.
  4. Restore power to the light fixture. The light bulb should flash rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode. If not, press and hold the physical button on the smart socket for 5-10 seconds until it flashes.

5.3. Device Pairing with Smart Life App

  1. Open the Smart Life app.
  2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The smart socket does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
  4. Select "Lighting" > "Light Source (Wi-Fi)" or allow the app to auto-discover the device.
  5. Confirm that the light bulb is flashing rapidly. If prompted, enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password.
  6. The app will begin pairing. Once successful, the light bulb will stop flashing and remain steadily on. You can then rename the device for easier control.

5.4. Connecting to Amazon Alexa / Google Home

  1. In the Smart Life app, navigate to "Me" > "More Services" > "Alexa" or "Google Assistant" and follow the on-screen instructions to link your Smart Life account.
  2. Alternatively, open the Alexa or Google Home app, go to "Skills & Games" (Alexa) or "Works with Google" (Google Home), search for "Smart Life", and enable the skill/service.
  3. Link your Smart Life account when prompted.
  4. Discover devices in the Alexa/Google Home app. Your smart light socket will appear and can be added to rooms or groups.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. App Control

Once paired, you can control your light socket from anywhere using the Smart Life app:

  • On/Off: Tap the power icon next to the device name to turn the light on or off.
  • Scheduling: Set custom schedules for your lights to turn on or off at specific times, including repeat functions, countdowns, and timers.
  • Scenes: Create custom scenes to control multiple smart devices simultaneously with a single tap.
