General Wiring Steps:

  1. Disconnect the main power supply.
  2. Mount the thermostat into a standard flush-mounted box.
  3. Connect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) power supply wires to the corresponding terminals on the thermostat (Input: 230V AC, 50/60Hz).
  4. Connect the heating load wires (L1, N1) to the LOAD terminals.
  5. Connect the external floor sensor (if used) to the SENSOR terminals (T1, T2).
  6. Secure the thermostat to the wall box using the provided screws.
  7. Restore power and test the thermostat.

Operating Instructions

The Mi-Heat H3 thermostat offers intuitive control via its touch screen interface.

Basic Operation:

  • Power ON/OFF: Press the power icon (⏻) to turn the unit on or off.
  • Temperature Adjustment: In manual mode, use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to set the desired temperature.

Weekly Programming:

The thermostat supports flexible weekly programming with 6 periods per day. You can choose between 5+2 days (weekdays + weekend), 6+1 days (Mon-Sat + Sunday), or 7 individual days.

  1. Press the Menu icon (📖) to enter programming mode.
  2. Navigate through the settings using the Up/Down arrows.
  3. Set the desired time and temperature for each of the 6 periods for each day or group of days.
  4. Confirm settings to save the program.

Key Lock / Child Safety:

To prevent unintended changes, activate the key lock function.

  • Press and hold the Key Lock icon (🔒) for a few seconds to lock or unlock the keypad.

Sensor Selection:

The thermostat can operate using its internal room sensor, the external floor sensor, or a combination of both (e.g., floor sensor with room temperature limit).

Refer to the advanced settings in the menu to configure the sensor mode.

Maintenance

The Mi-Heat H3 thermostat requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the screen and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • No User-Serviceable Parts: Do not attempt to open the thermostat casing.

Troubleshooting

  • Keypad Unresponsive:
    • Check if the key lock/child safety function is active. Unlock it if necessary.
