1. Important Safety Information

Read all instructions before assembly and use of the stroller. Keep these instructions for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death to your child.

  • Always secure your child with the 5-point harness.
  • Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
  • Do not overload the storage basket or hang bags on the handle, as this can cause the stroller to tip.
  • Ensure the parking brake is engaged when placing or removing your child from the stroller.
  • Do not use the stroller on stairs or escalators.
  • Maximum weight recommendation: 50 pounds.
  • Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
  • Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by Ergobaby.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller

To unfold the stroller, release the folding latch and lift the handlebar until the frame locks into place. Ensure both sides are securely locked before use.

3.2 Adjusting the Handlebar

The handlebar can be adjusted for height and reversed to change the seat direction. To adjust the height, locate the release buttons on either side of the handlebar. Press these buttons and slide the handlebar up or down to your desired height. Release the buttons to lock it in place.

To reverse the handlebar, press the release buttons and swing the handlebar over the canopy to the opposite side. This allows the child to face either forward or towards the parent without removing the seat.

3.3 Harness Adjustment

The 5-point harness system should be adjusted to fit your child snugly. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height for your child's shoulders and tighten the waist straps for a secure fit. Ensure the buckle is fully engaged.

3.4 Canopy Adjustment

The extendable sun canopy provides ample coverage. Pull the canopy forward or push it back to adjust the level of shade. The canopy also features mesh sidewalls for improved airflow, which can be covered for warmth or opened for ventilation.

3.5 Car Seat Compatibility

The Ergobaby 180 Reversible Stroller is travel system ready. It is compatible with most Graco and Chicco car seats when used with a Car Seat Adapter (sold separately). Refer to the car seat adapter's instructions for proper installation.

4. Operating the Stroller

4.1 One-Hand Fold

The stroller features a convenient one-hand fold mechanism. Locate the folding release and follow the instructions to collapse the stroller quickly and efficiently. The stroller stands on its own when folded for easy storage.

4.2 Steering and Maneuverability

The stroller offers versatile steering options. You can choose between 4-wheel steering for tight spaces or lock the front wheels for traditional front-wheel steering, ideal for longer walks.

4.3 Brake System

Engage the foot-operated parking brake when the stroller is stationary to prevent accidental movement. Ensure the brake is fully disengaged before pushing the stroller.

4.4 Seat Recline

The seat features a deep recline for your child's comfort. Adjust the recline position using the mechanism located behind the seat to suit your child's needs, whether they are awake or napping.

4.5 Storage

The stroller includes an extra-large under-seat storage basket and a seat back pocket for your essentials. Do not exceed the recommended weight limit for the storage areas.

5. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the frame with a damp cloth. The fabric seat can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
  • Wheels: Periodically check wheels for debris and ensure they rotate freely.
  • Moving Parts: Lubricate moving parts as needed with a silicone-based lubricant.
  • Storage: Store the stroller in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
