Setup and Assembly

Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wash all detachable parts (juice bowl, auger, filter basket, feeding chute, juice jug, pulp container, and cleaning brush) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps to assemble your juicer:

  1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Align the juice bowl with the motor base and rotate it clockwise until it locks securely into place. Ensure the pulp and juice outlets are correctly positioned.
  3. Insert the filter basket into the juice bowl, ensuring it sits firmly. Choose the appropriate filter for your desired output (juice or sorbet).
  4. Place the auger into the center of the filter basket, pushing it down gently until it clicks into place.
  5. Attach the feeding chute assembly onto the top of the juice bowl, aligning the arrows and rotating clockwise until it locks.
  6. Place the juice jug under the juice outlet and the pulp container under the pulp outlet.
  7. Ensure the anti-drip tap is closed before adding ingredients.

Operating Your Juicer

Preparing Ingredients

Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly. For the 75mm wide feeding chute, most whole fruits and vegetables can be inserted without extensive chopping. However, for very fibrous ingredients like celery or leafy greens, it is recommended to cut them into smaller pieces (approx. 1-2 inches) to prevent clogging and ensure optimal juice extraction. Remove large seeds, pits, and hard skins (e.g., pineapple, citrus peels).

Juicing Process

  1. Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the juice jug and pulp container are in place.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Press the "ON" button to start the juicer. The auger will begin to rotate at a slow speed of 60 RPM, preserving nutrients and minimizing oxidation.
  4. Slowly feed prepared ingredients into the feeding chute. Use the food pusher only when necessary to gently guide ingredients. Do not force ingredients down.
  5. The juicer will extract juice, which will flow into the juice jug, while the dry pulp will be expelled into the pulp container.
  6. For a finer juice consistency, use the included stainless steel sieve over your juice jug.
  7. When finished, press the "OFF" button and unplug the juicer.

Release the button, wait a few seconds, and then press "ON" to resume juicing. Do not continuously use the reverse function for extended periods.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Fridja f1900 Juicer.

Disassembly for Cleaning

Always unplug the juicer before disassembling. Reverse the assembly steps:

  1. Remove the juice jug and pulp container.
  2. Rotate the feeding chute assembly counter-clockwise and lift it off.
  3. Remove the auger.
  4. Lift out the filter basket.
  5. Rotate the juice bowl counter-clockwise and lift it off the motor base.
