Setup and Installation

The Active Aqua Water Chiller is designed for straightforward installation. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation around all sides. The chiller requires an external pump and hoses for operation, which are not included with the unit.

Connection Steps:

1. Prepare Fittings: The chiller includes 0.5-inch and 0.75-inch fittings. Select the appropriate size for your pump and reservoir hoses.
2. Connect Hoses: Attach the 'IN' hose from your pump (drawing water from the reservoir) to the chiller's 'IN' port. Connect the 'OUT' hose from the chiller's 'OUT' port back to your reservoir. Secure all connections with clamps to prevent leaks.
3. Position Pump: Place your external water pump in the reservoir, ensuring it is fully submerged and can circulate water effectively.
4. Power Connection: Plug the chiller into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Initial Water Circulation: Before turning on the chiller, ensure the pump is running and water is circulating through the chiller unit to prime the system and remove any air.
