Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

General Cleaning

  • Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  • Never immerse the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.

Limescale Filter Cleaning

The kettle is equipped with a removable and washable limescale filter to prevent scale particles from entering your beverage.

  1. Ensure the kettle is cool and empty.
  2. Open the lid and locate the filter at the spout.
  3. Gently unclip and remove the filter.
  4. Rinse the filter under running water, brushing away any limescale deposits. For stubborn deposits, soak the filter in a descaling solution.
  5. Reinsert the clean filter back into its position until it clicks securely.

  • Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for kettles, or a natural solution like white vinegar or citric acid.
  • Follow the instructions on the descaling product. For natural solutions, fill the kettle with a mixture of water and vinegar (1:2 ratio) or citric acid solution.
