1. Introduction

The AODELAN E3+ Flash Trigger is designed for wireless flash shooting, offering compatibility with the original Canon radio system. It seamlessly integrates with Canon 600EX-RT, 600EX II-RT, and 430EXIII-RT Speedlites. This transmitter allows control of up to 5 groups (15 units) of Canon Speedlites that feature wireless multiple flash shooting via radio transmission. Additionally, it can trigger non-wireless Canon ETTL Speedlites when used with an E3+ receiver (sold separately). The E3+ supports ETTL/ETTL II flash, Manual flash, Strobe flash, Group firing, and Linked Shooting modes, providing versatile lighting control for various photographic scenarios.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the E3+ Flash Trigger.
  2. Slide the cover open in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals match the markings inside the compartment).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.

5.2. Mounting the Transmitter

  1. Slide the E3+ Flash Trigger onto your camera's hot shoe or a compatible flash stand.
  2. Tighten the locking wheel on the hot shoe mount to secure the transmitter in place.

5.3. Powering On and Initial Configuration

  1. Turn on the E3+ Flash Trigger using the power switch. The display will illuminate.
  2. Ensure your compatible Canon Speedlites are also powered on and set to a wireless slave mode.
  3. Set the same channel and group on both the E3+ transmitter and your Speedlites to establish a connection. Refer to your Speedlite's manual for specific instructions on setting wireless channels and groups.
