4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Seamax SUP Hand Pump:
- Attach the Air Hose: Locate the air hose and the connection port on the pump. Screw the end of the air hose securely onto the pump's outlet port. Ensure it is tightened to prevent air leaks.
- Prepare the Adapter: The other end of the hose features an HR adapter. This adapter is designed to fit Halkey Roberts, Bravo, and similar types of air valves commonly found on inflatable paddle boards and boats.

5. Operating Instructions
To inflate your paddle board or boat:
- Connect to Inflatable: Insert the HR adapter firmly into the air valve of your inflatable item. Twist or secure it according to your inflatable's valve type to ensure a tight seal.
- Begin Pumping: Place your feet on the pump's footrests for stability. Grip the handle firmly and begin pushing down and pulling up the pump handle in a steady, rhythmic motion.
- Monitor Pressure: Observe the built-in air pressure gauge located on the top of the pump handle. Continue pumping until the desired PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) or BAR (Barometric Pressure) is reached, as specified by your inflatable's manufacturer. The maximum pressure for this pump is 27.5 PSI.
- Disconnect: Once the desired pressure is achieved, quickly disconnect the adapter from the inflatable's valve.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Seamax SUP Hand Pump:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in sandy or dusty environments, wipe down the pump body and hose with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
- Storage: Store the pump in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the hose is not kinked during storage.
- Sand Protection Filter: Periodically check the sand protection filter for any blockages and clean if necessary to maintain efficient airflow.
- Lubrication: The internal components are designed for long-lasting performance. Avoid disassembling the pump for lubrication unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pump, consider the following:
- Pump Not Inflating:
- Ensure the hose is securely attached to both the pump and the inflatable's valve.
- Check the inflatable's valve for proper closure and any obstructions.
- Verify that the pump's internal components are moving freely and not obstructed by debris.
- Pressure Gauge Not Reading:
- Ensure the inflatable is connected and sealed properly. The gauge typically only registers pressure once a certain level of resistance is met within the inflatable.
- If the gauge remains unresponsive, it may indicate a fault with the gauge itself. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Air Leaking from Connections:
- Tighten all connections, including the hose to the pump and the adapter to the valve.
- Inspect O-rings and seals for damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
