Setup

1. Battery Installation

Main Unit:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
2. Insert 4 x AA batteries (included), observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
3. Close the battery compartment cover. The clock display will light up.

Wireless Remote Sensor:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote sensor.
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (included), observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Initial Synchronization and Sensor Pairing

After inserting batteries, the main unit will automatically begin searching for the atomic time signal (WWVB) and the remote sensor signal. This process may take several minutes to a few hours, depending on your location and signal strength.

• Place the main unit near a window for better signal reception during initial setup.
• Ensure the remote sensor is placed within range (up to 30 meters / 100 feet in open air) of the main unit. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronic devices that may interfere with the signal.
• Once connected, the outdoor temperature will appear on the main unit's display.

3. Placement of Remote Sensor

For accurate outdoor temperature readings, place the remote sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation. The included external probe can be used for monitoring temperatures inside refrigerators or freezers.

Operating Instructions

The clock features several buttons on the front and back for various settings:

• MODE Button: Cycles through display modes and enters setting mode.
• SNOOZE Button: Activates snooze during an alarm; also used for backlight (if applicable) or confirming settings.
• ALARM Button: Sets and activates/deactivates the alarm.
• +/- Buttons (on back): Adjust values up or down during setting.
• RESET Button (on back): Resets the unit to factory defaults.

1. Setting Time Zone

The clock supports 7 time zones. Locate the time zone switch on the back of the unit and slide it to your desired time zone (e.g., PST, MST, CST, EST, AST, NST, HST).

2. 12/24 Hour Display

Press the MODE button repeatedly until the time display flashes. Use the +/- buttons to toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats. Press MODE to confirm.

3. Celsius/Fahrenheit Display

Press the +/- button (often the 'up' arrow) to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature readings.

4. Daylight Saving Time (DST)

Locate the DST switch on the back of the unit. Slide it to ON or OFF according to your region's daylight saving time observance.

5. Setting the Alarm

1. Press the ALARM button once to display the current alarm time.
2. Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm hour flashes.
3. Use the +/- buttons to adjust the hour. Press ALARM to confirm.
4. The alarm minute will flash. Use the +/- buttons to adjust the minute. Press ALARM to confirm.
5. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM button briefly when the alarm time is displayed. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the screen.

6. Wall Mounting or Desktop Use

The clock can be wall-mounted using the keyhole slots on the back or placed on a desktop using the integrated foldable stand.
