4. Setup

  1. Prepare Work Area: Ensure your work area is clean, well-ventilated, and free of flammable materials.

  3. Adjust Tip (if needed): Utilize the 180° swivel tip to direct the flame precisely to your workpiece.
  4. Perform Task: Apply the flame to the area requiring brazing or soldering. The preset flame is optimized for efficiency.
  5. Extinguish Flame: Release the ignition trigger to turn off the flame.
  6. Engage Safety Trigger Lock: Once the flame is extinguished, engage the safety trigger lock to prevent accidental ignition.
  7. Cool Down: Allow the torch and workpiece to cool down completely before storing or handling.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the torch clean and free of debris. Wipe down the exterior with a dry cloth after each use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the torch for any signs of damage, wear, or leaks, especially around the connections and tip. Do not use a damaged torch.
  • Storage: When not in use, disconnect the gas cylinder from the torch. Store the torch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and out of reach of children.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Torch Does Not Ignite:
    • Ensure the gas cylinder is properly attached and contains gas.
    • Check if the safety trigger lock is disengaged.
    • Inspect the ignitor for any obstructions or damage.
  • Weak or Inconsistent Flame:
    • Verify the gas cylinder has sufficient fuel.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions in the torch tip or gas flow path.
  • Gas Leak Detected:
    • Immediately turn off the gas supply.
