1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

• Ensure the lift is placed on a firm, level, and stable surface before use.

• Engage the safety pin after reaching the desired height to prevent accidental lowering.
• Keep children and pets away from the lift during operation.
• Do not work under a vehicle supported solely by the lift without additional safety stands.

3. Product Overview and Components

The MASKO® Lawn Tractor Lift consists of a sturdy alloy steel frame, a manual crank mechanism, and adjustable wheel supports. A safety pin is included to secure the lift in its raised position.

The crank mechanism features a ball-bearing spindle for smooth and effortless lifting, even with heavier loads. The wheel supports are designed to accommodate wheels up to approximately 30 cm in width.

4. Setup

The MASKO® Lawn Tractor Lift is largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Unpack the lift and ensure all components are present and undamaged.
2. Unfold the lift by extending the main frame until it locks into its open position.
3. Place the lift on a flat, stable, and non-slip surface.
4. Ensure there is sufficient clear space around the lift for safe operation and vehicle movement.

5. Operating Instructions

To safely lift your vehicle for maintenance:

1. Position the lift: Place the lift behind the vehicle you intend to raise.
2. Load the vehicle: Carefully push or drive the rear wheels of your lawn tractor, ride-on mower, or quad into the designated wheel supports on the lift. Ensure the vehicle is centered and stable on the supports. The maximum drive-on width is approximately 96 cm.
3. Lift the vehicle: Turn the manual crank clockwise to raise the vehicle to the desired height. The ball-bearing spindle ensures smooth lifting.
4. Adjust tilt angle: The lift allows for a continuous tilt adjustment up to approximately 45°. Adjust as needed for optimal access.
5. Secure the lift: Once the desired height and tilt are achieved, insert the safety pin into the appropriate hole to lock the lift in position. This prevents accidental lowering.
6. Perform maintenance: With the vehicle securely lifted, you can now perform cleaning, blade replacement, or other maintenance tasks.
7. Lower the vehicle: After maintenance, remove the safety pin. Slowly turn the crank counter-clockwise to gently lower the vehicle back to the ground.
8. Remove vehicle: Once fully lowered, carefully remove the vehicle from the lift.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your MASKO® Lawn Tractor Lift:

• Cleaning: After each use, especially after cleaning a mower, wipe down the lift to remove grass clippings, dirt, and debris. A cleaning brush is included for this purpose.
• Lubrication: Periodically apply a suitable lubricant to the crank spindle and other moving parts to ensure smooth operation.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect the entire lift for signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Pay close attention to welds, the frame, and the crank mechanism. Tighten any loose bolts.
• Storage: When not in use, fold the lift to its compact size and store it in a dry, protected area to prevent rust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your lift, consider the following:

• Difficulty in Cranking: Check if the spindle is clean and lubricated. Ensure no debris is obstructing the mechanism. Verify the load is within the specified capacity.
• Unstable Lift: Ensure the lift is on a completely flat and stable surface. Confirm the vehicle is properly centered on the wheel supports.
• Lift Not Holding Position: Ensure the safety pin is correctly inserted and fully engaged after lifting.
