3.2 Placement
Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow.

3.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the unit.
3.4 Water Drainage Options
The dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:
- Water Tank: The dehumidifier will collect water in its internal 5.5L tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. You must then manually empty the tank.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, connect a suitable drainage hose (not always included, check packaging) to the continuous drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

Carefully remove the water tank from the back of the unit, empty the collected water, and then reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the tank is properly seated to resume operation.
5.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.

5.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

- Empty the water tank and ensure it is completely dry.
- Clean the air filter.
- Unplug the unit and coil the power cord neatly.
- Store the dehumidifier in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, please refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dehumidifier does not turn on. | No power supply. Power cord not properly connected. | Check if the unit is plugged in and the outlet is working. Ensure the power cord is securely connected. |
| Unit runs but no water collects. | Room humidity is too low. Temperature is too low. Air filter is clogged. | Check the current humidity level. If it's below the set level, the unit won't dehumidify. Dehumidifiers are less effective in very cold environments. Clean the air filter. |
| Unit stops operating and indicator light is on. | Water tank is full. Water tank is not properly inserted. | Empty the water tank. Reinsert the water tank firmly until it clicks into place. |
| Airflow is weak or noisy. | Air filter is clogged. Air inlets/outlets are blocked. | Clean the air filter. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit and no obstructions. |
