2. Setup Guide

2.1 Initial Time Setting

Your watch comes with both analog hands and a digital display. Both need to be set independently for accurate timekeeping.

  1. Digital Time Setting: Press the 'MODE' button repeatedly until you reach the Timekeeping Mode. Hold down the 'ADJUST' button until the seconds begin to flash, indicating the setting screen. Use the 'SEARCH' and 'LIGHT' buttons to navigate through settings (seconds, hour, minute, year, month, day, DST). Use the 'MODE' button to change values. Press 'ADJUST' again to exit.
  2. Analog Time Setting: In the Timekeeping Mode, hold down the 'ADJUST' button until the digital time starts flashing. Press the 'SEARCH' button to enter the analog hand setting mode. Use the 'MODE' button to advance the analog hands. Note that analog hands only move forward. If the analog time is slightly ahead, you will need to advance it by almost 12 hours to correct it. Press 'ADJUST' to confirm and exit.

2.2 Wearing the Watch

Ensure the watch fits comfortably on your wrist. The resin band is designed for flexibility and durability. Adjust the buckle to a snug fit that does not restrict circulation.

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. It is not recommended for scuba diving or high-impact water sports. Avoid operating buttons while the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water ingress.

4.2 Battery Replacement

The Casio HDC-700-1AVCF is equipped with a 10-year battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is highly recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

4.3 Cleaning
