The Dyson V7 has advanced, whole-machine filtration that captures pet allergens and fine dust, expelling cleaner air. Thanks to the cordless format, it also transforms into a handheld vacuum with one click so you can clean up high, down low and everywhere in-between.
Setup and Assembly
Your Dyson V7 Advanced comes with several components for easy assembly and versatile cleaning.

Included in the box are the Motorbar™ cleaner head, combination tool, mini soft dusting brush, and the charger. These accessories allow for various cleaning tasks.
To assemble, connect the wand to the main body until it clicks securely. Then, attach your desired cleaner head or accessory to the end of the wand.
Charging the vacuum: Connect the charger to the charging port on the main body. A blue light will indicate charging is in progress. Ensure the vacuum is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.
The blue indicator light on the Dyson V7 signifies that the battery is currently charging.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Dyson V7.
- No loss of suction. 15 cyclones, arranged across two tiers, work in parallel to increase airflow and capture fine dust so your vacuum never loses suction.
To empty the dustbin, hold the vacuum over a trash can and pull the red lever to release the bottom flap. This hygienic emptying mechanism prevents contact with dust.
- Advanced whole-machine filtration. Traps 99.99% of particles, dust and allergens as small as 0.3 microns.²
The washable filter should be rinsed under cold water at least once a month. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting into the vacuum.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
No Power/Short Run Time: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check the charger connection. If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement. (Refer to warranty information for battery coverage).
Loss of Suction: Empty the dustbin if it's full. Check for blockages in the cleaner head, wand, or main body. Clean the filter according to maintenance instructions.
Brush Bar Not Spinning: Check for obstructions in the brush bar. Ensure the cleaner head is properly attached. Some models have a reset button for the brush bar.
Unusual Noises: This could indicate a blockage or damage to internal components. Disassemble and check for foreign objects. If the noise continues, contact Dyson support.
