Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully before use.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for assistance.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Always ensure the lid is securely closed during operation. Scalding may occur if the lid is open during boiling.
- Do not overfill the kettle above the MAX fill line or underfill below the MIN fill line.
- Use the kettle only with the provided power base.

Setup
Before first use, follow these steps:
- Unpack the kettle and its power base. Ensure all packaging materials are removed.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water.
- Fill the kettle with water to the MAX fill line.
- Place the kettle on its power base and plug the base into a standard electrical outlet.
- Boil the water at 212°F (maximum temperature).
- Discard the boiled water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- The kettle is now ready for regular use.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your OVENTE Electric Kettle:
- Fill the Kettle: Press the lid release button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with fresh water, ensuring it is between the MIN (0.6L) and MAX (1.7L) fill lines. Close the lid securely.
- Place on Power Base: Position the kettle onto its 360° rotary power base. Ensure the base is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Select Temperature: Use the touch temperature control panel on the handle to select your desired water temperature. The available preset settings are:
- 140°F (60°C)
- 158°F (70°C)
- 176°F (80°C)
- 194°F (90°C)
- 212°F (100°C) - Boiling
- Observe LED Illumination: The LED lights at the bottom of the kettle will illuminate in a specific color to indicate the selected temperature setting.
- Boiling Process: The kettle will begin heating the water. Once the selected temperature is reached, the kettle will automatically shut off.
- Keep Warm Function: If the Keep Warm function is activated, the kettle will maintain the water at 212°F for up to 2 hours. If the temperature drops to 185°F, it will automatically reboil to the set temperature.
- Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base using the cool-touch handle and pour the hot water.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your kettle.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
- Fill the kettle with a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar.
- Bring the solution to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
- Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- For stubborn deposits, gently scrub the interior with a non-abrasive brush or sponge.
- Removable Spout Filter: The kettle features a removable spout filter. To clean, detach it from the spout and rinse under running water. Reattach once clean.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the kettle is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your kettle, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
