2. Important Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using this gas grill to reduce the risk of fire, explosion, or injury. This grill is for outdoor use only. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. An LP cylinder not connected for use shall not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

2.1 Gas Safety

  • Ensure all gas connections are tight and leak-free before operation. Perform a leak test as described in the setup section.
  • Never operate the grill if you smell gas. Immediately shut off the gas supply and investigate the source.
  • Use only the type of gas specified for your grill (Propane).

2.2 Electrical Safety

  • The grill features 120V electronic ignition and interior halogen lights. Ensure the electrical outlet is properly grounded.
  • Do not expose electrical components to water.

2.3 General Precautions

  • Keep children and pets away from the grill during operation.
  • Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot grill components.
  • Do not move the grill while it is in use or hot.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all packaging materials. This grill is designed as a freestanding unit. Place the grill on a level, non-combustible surface, ensuring adequate clearance from combustible materials (e.g., walls, fences, trees). The grill dimensions are approximately 24.75"D x 56"W x 48.5"H.

3.2 Gas Connection (Propane)

Connect the grill to a standard 20 lb. propane cylinder using the regulator and hose assembly provided. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then use a wrench to secure them firmly. Perform a leak test by applying a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, immediately shut off the gas supply and tighten connections. Re-test until no bubbles appear.

3.3 Electrical Connection

Plug the grill's power cord into a grounded 120V electrical outlet. This powers the electronic ignition system and the interior halogen lights.

3.4 Initial Burn-Off

Before cooking food for the first time, operate the grill on high heat for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and prepare the cooking surfaces.

  2. Push and turn a main burner control knob to the HIGH position.
