Connections

The Jamo S 810 SUB connects to your audio system via RCA inputs. Ensure your amplifier, receiver, or other compatible devices (such as DVD players, Blu-Ray players, iPhones, iPads, Samsung devices, Atmos, Dolby, or THX systems) have an available subwoofer output (LFE or Sub Out).

  1. Connect one end of an RCA cable to the LFE or Sub Out port on your amplifier/receiver.
  2. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the RCA input on the Jamo S 810 SUB.

Power Connection

Once all audio connections are made, connect the supplied power cable to the AC power input on the subwoofer and then to a suitable wall outlet. The subwoofer is designed to operate on AC power.

Operating

Power On/Off

The subwoofer typically has a power switch or an auto-on/standby feature. Refer to the back panel of your unit for specific power controls. In auto-on mode, the subwoofer will power on automatically when an audio signal is detected and enter standby when no signal is present for a period.

Volume and Crossover Settings

Adjust the volume level of the subwoofer to blend seamlessly with your main speakers. The subwoofer may also feature a crossover control, which allows you to set the upper frequency limit at which the subwoofer operates. This ensures a smooth transition between the subwoofer and your main speakers.

Control Method

The Jamo S 810 SUB can be controlled via an application, allowing for convenient adjustments to settings from your smart device. Consult the manufacturer's website or product documentation for details on the specific application and its features.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Jamo S 810 SUB, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the subwoofer. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive chemicals, as these may damage the finish.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked by dust or debris. Periodically check and clean them if necessary.
  • Placement: Avoid placing the subwoofer in direct sunlight or near sources of extreme heat or cold. Keep it away from areas with high humidity.
