Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Avoiding Sand/Dust: When using the tripod in sandy or dusty environments, take extra care to prevent particles from entering the leg locking mechanisms. Sand can cause stiffness or damage to the joints. If sand enters the joints, gently clean with compressed air or a soft brush.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Device Not Securely Held:
- Ensure the quick-release plate screw or phone clip is tightened firmly.
- If using a phone clip and the phone feels loose, a small piece of paper or thin material can be placed between the phone and the clip to create a tighter fit.
- Legs Not Extending/Retracting Smoothly:
- Check that all quick locks are fully open before attempting to extend or retract legs.
- Inspect for any debris (e.g., sand) in the leg joints. Clean as described in the Maintenance section.
- Bluetooth Remote Not Pairing:
- Ensure the remote is charged and turned on.
- Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and that the remote is within the 10m operating range.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the remote in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
