Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the clock. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will power on and display the default time.

Operating Instructions

Button Functions (Refer to back panel image above)

The SANDA SD-0028 clock features several control buttons on its back panel:

  • SET: Used to enter and cycle through setting modes (Time, Date, Alarm) and confirm selections.
  • UP: Used to increase values or move forward during setting.
  • DOWN: Used to decrease values or move backward during setting.
  • EXIT: Used to exit a setting mode.
  • RESET: A small, recessed button typically used to reset the clock to factory defaults. Use a pointed object to press.

1. Setting the Time (Hour, Minute, 12/24 Hour Format)

  1. Press the SET button once. The hour display will begin to flash.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press SET again. The minute display will flash.
  4. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press SET again. The 12/24 hour format setting will flash (indicated by AM/PM or absence).
  6. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicators) or 24-hour format.
  7. Press SET to confirm and move to the next setting, or EXIT to save and return to normal display.

2. Setting the Date (Year, Month, Day, Week)

  1. From normal display, press the SET button repeatedly until the year display flashes.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the year.
  3. Press SET to move to month adjustment.
  4. Adjust the month using UP or DOWN.
  5. Press SET to move to day adjustment.
  6. Adjust the day using UP or DOWN.
  7. The day of the week will automatically update based on the set date.
  8. Press SET to confirm and move to the next setting, or EXIT to save and return to normal display.

3. Setting the Alarm and Melody

  1. From normal display, press the SET button repeatedly until the alarm time display flashes (often indicated by an "Alarma" icon).
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press SET to move to alarm minute adjustment.
  4. Adjust the alarm minutes using UP or DOWN.
  5. Press SET to move to melody selection. The current melody number (1-8) will flash.
  6. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to cycle through the 8 available melodies.
  7. Press SET to confirm the alarm settings.
  8. To activate or deactivate the alarm, there might be a separate button or a quick press of the UP or DOWN button while in normal display, or a specific sequence. Look for an "Alarma" indicator on the display to confirm activation.
  9. Press EXIT to save and return to normal display.

4. Temperature Display

The clock automatically displays the ambient temperature in Celsius. No specific setting is usually required for this function. The temperature reading is indicated by "°C" on the display.
