Setup
1. Assembly
- Attach Wheels: Invert the tank and securely attach the wheels to the designated slots on the wheeled base. Ensure they click into place or are firmly screwed.
- Secure Motor Head: Place the motor head onto the stainless steel tank. Ensure the latches on the motor head align with the tank and securely fasten them.
- Connect Hose: Insert the flexible suction hose into the intake port on the tank. Twist or push firmly until it is secure.
- Attach Extension Tubes and Nozzle: Connect the telescopic metal tube to the end of the flexible hose. Then, attach the desired nozzle (e.g., double brush, crevice, or round nozzle) to the end of the telescopic tube.
2. Filter Installation (Dry Vacuuming)
For dry vacuuming, the cotton filter must be installed.
- Remove the motor head from the tank.
- Place the cotton filter over the filter cage on the underside of the motor head. Ensure it covers the entire cage and is secured with its support mechanism (e.g., elastic band or clamp).
- Reattach the motor head to the tank.
3. Filter Installation (Wet Vacuuming)
For wet vacuuming, the cotton filter must be removed, and a foam filter (if supplied) should be installed.
- Remove the motor head from the tank.
- Remove the cotton filter.
- If a foam filter is provided, place it over the filter cage on the underside of the motor head.
- Reattach the motor head to the tank.
- WARNING: Never use the cotton filter for wet vacuuming, as this can damage the motor.
Operating Instructions
1. Power Connection
Plug the vacuum cleaner's power cord into a properly grounded 230V electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before plugging in.
2. Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the cotton filter is correctly installed.
- Select the appropriate nozzle for the task.
- Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The vacuum will start.
- Guide the nozzle over the area to be cleaned.
- When finished, turn the power switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit.
3. Wet Vacuuming
- Ensure the cotton filter is removed and a foam filter (if supplied) is installed.
- Use the double brush nozzle or a suitable wet-specific attachment.
- Turn the power switch to the "ON" position.
- Vacuum liquids. The vacuum has a float mechanism that will automatically shut off suction when the tank is full. When this happens, turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and empty the tank.
- When finished, turn the power switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit. Empty and clean the tank immediately after wet vacuuming.
4. Using the Power Tool Socket
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a power tool socket on the motor head for synchronized operation with electric tools.
- Plug the vacuum cleaner into the main power supply.
- Plug your electric power tool into the socket on the vacuum cleaner's motor head.
- Turn the vacuum cleaner's power switch to the "AUTO" or "SYNCHRONIZED" position (if available, otherwise use "ON" and manually turn on the tool). When the power tool is switched on, the vacuum cleaner will automatically start. When the power tool is switched off, the vacuum cleaner will stop after a short delay to clear the hose.
- CAUTION: Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating for the power tool socket. Refer to specifications for details.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
1. Emptying the Tank
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Unlatch and remove the motor head.
- Carefully lift the tank and empty its contents into a suitable waste receptacle.
- For wet debris, rinse the tank with water and dry thoroughly before reassembly.
2. Filter Cleaning
- Cotton Filter (Dry): Remove the cotton filter from the motor head. Gently tap it to dislodge dust and debris. For heavy dirt, it can be carefully washed with mild soap and water, then allowed to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Foam Filter (Wet): Remove the foam filter. Rinse it thoroughly under running water until clean. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- IMPORTANT: Never use a wet filter for dry vacuuming, and ensure filters are completely dry before use to prevent motor damage.
3. Hose and Accessory Cleaning
Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or damage. Clear any obstructions. Wash accessories with water and mild detergent if necessary, then rinse and dry.
