1. Introduction

The Anker PowerWave 7.5 Stand is a high-speed wireless charging stand designed to provide efficient and convenient charging for your Qi-enabled devices. Featuring exclusive WaveBoost technology, it utilizes advanced components and an internal cooling fan to deliver faster charging speeds compared to standard wireless chargers.

This charger supports various charging modes, including 7.5W for compatible iPhones and 10W for compatible Samsung flagship phones. Its versatile design allows for charging in both landscape and portrait orientations, making it ideal for watching videos or using Face ID while charging.

3. Setup Instructions

1. Connect the Micro USB cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the PowerWave 7.5 Stand.
2. Connect the other end of the Micro USB cable to the Quick Charge 3.0 AC adapter.
3. Plug the Quick Charge 3.0 AC adapter into a wall outlet. The LED indicator on the front of the stand will illuminate, indicating it is ready for use.

Important: A Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger with 12V / 1.5A output is required for optimal operation and fast charging capabilities. Using a standard charger may result in slower charging speeds or no charging at all.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Placing Your Device

To begin charging, simply place your Qi-enabled smartphone on the PowerWave 7.5 Stand. Ensure the phone is centered on the stand for the most efficient charging connection.

4.2 Charging Orientation

The PowerWave 7.5 Stand features twin charging coils, allowing you to charge your device in two orientations:

• Portrait Mode: Ideal for messaging, Face ID, or browsing the web.
• Landscape Mode: Perfect for watching videos or playing games.

4.3 Charging Speeds

The charger automatically detects and delivers the optimal charging speed for your device:

• 7.5W Fast Charge Mode: For compatible iPhones (requires iOS 11.2 or later).
• 10W Fast Charge Mode: For compatible Samsung flagship phones.
• 5W Standard Charge Mode: For all other Qi-enabled phones and devices.

4.4 Internal Cooling Fan

The PowerWave 7.5 Stand includes an internal cooling fan to manage heat during fast charging, ensuring optimal performance and device safety. The fan may produce a slight sound during operation, which is normal.

5. Compatibility

• 10W Fast Charge Mode (using Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 Adapter):

• 7.5W Fast Charge Mode (using Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 Adapter):

• 5W Standard Charge Mode (using Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 Adapter):
  All Qi-enabled phones and devices, including Pixel 3 / Pixel 3XL (Note: Pixel phones may display "Charging slowly" message).

Note: This charger does not support the iPhone 12 series.

6. Important Notes and Safety Information

• Case Friendly: The PowerWave 7.5 Stand can charge directly through protective cases up to 5 mm thick. This applies to rubber, plastic, or TPU cases only.
• Case Restrictions: Magnetic and metal attachments or cards will prevent charging. Cases containing metal, such as Pitaka, Evutec, and Spigen QNMP, will trigger foreign object detection and interrupt charging.
• AC Adapter: The included AC adapter does not have an LED indicator to minimize distractions, especially in bedroom environments.
• iOS Version: For iPhones, iOS 11.2 or later is required to access 7.5W fast charging.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Phone Not Charging

• Check Placement: Ensure your phone is centered on the charging stand.
• Remove Obstructions: Remove any metal attachments, credit cards, or excessively thick cases (over 5 mm) from your phone.
• Verify Cable Connection: Ensure the Micro USB cable is securely connected to both the PowerWave 7.5 Stand and the Quick Charge 3.0 AC adapter. A loose connection can prevent charging.
• Power Source: Confirm the AC adapter is properly plugged into a working wall outlet.

8.2 Slow Charging

• Use Correct Adapter: Ensure you are using the included Quick Charge 3.0 AC adapter. Standard 5V/1A or 5V/2A adapters will result in slower charging.
• Check Phone Compatibility: Verify your phone supports 7.5W or 10W fast wireless charging.
• Software Update: For iPhones, ensure your device is running iOS 11.2 or later to enable 7.5W fast charging.

8.3 Fan Noise

The internal cooling fan may produce a sound during operation. This is normal and indicates the cooling system is actively working to maintain optimal charging temperatures.
