Introduction

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the Vornado 623 from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged. The package should include the 623 Fan and an Owner's Guide.

2. Placement: Position the circulator on a firm, level surface in the desired location. For optimal whole-room circulation, place the unit where its airflow will not be obstructed. The multi-directional pivoting head allows you to direct the airflow as needed.

3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. This product is built to meet U.S. voltage requirements and is certified, safety-tested, and warrantied for use only in the U.S.

Operating Instructions

The Vornado 623 features simple manual controls for adjusting airflow.

1. Power On/Off: Locate the control knob on the back of the fan. Turn the knob to one of the speed settings to power on the unit. Turn it to the 'Off' position to power off.
2. Speed Settings: The unit offers three speed settings (Low, Medium, High). Rotate the control knob to select your desired airflow intensity.
3. Directing Airflow: The 623 has a multi-directional pivoting head. Gently tilt the fan head to direct the powerful airflow exactly where it is needed. The fan can also be rotated into a nesting position for easy storage.

1. Cleaning the Grille: The 623 features a detachable grille for easy cleaning. To remove, follow the instructions in the full owner's guide. Wipe the grille with a soft, damp cloth.
2. Cleaning the Blades: Once the grille is removed, the fan blades are accessible. Wipe the blades with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting
