Insert one of the provided keys into the lock cylinder on the front of the cash drawer. The lock has multiple positions:

4. Connecting to a POS System/Printer

2. Organizing Currency

The cash drawer features a 5-bill tray and a removable 8-coin tray. Arrange bills and coins in their respective compartments for efficient cash handling.

3. Closing the Drawer

Gently push the drawer inward until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully closed to prevent accidental opening and to maintain security.

4. Emergency Drawer Release

In case of power failure or system malfunction, an emergency release tab is located on the underside of the cash drawer. Consult the diagram in the troubleshooting section for its exact location and operation.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the cash drawer with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Ensure no liquids enter the internal mechanisms.

2. Drawer Mechanism

Periodically check the drawer slides for any obstructions. Keep the area around the drawer opening clear of debris. Do not lubricate the slides unless specifically instructed by Royal support, as this can attract dust and hinder performance.

3. Key Care

Keep the keys in a safe place. Do not force the key if it feels stiff; ensure it is fully inserted and aligned before turning. If the lock mechanism becomes difficult to operate, contact customer support.
