3. Ducting or Recirculating Setup

Ducted Mode:

  • Attach the 1.5m exhaust pipe to the outlet on top of the hood.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your cooker hood.

1. Cleaning the Grease Filters

The 5-layer aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to prevent grease buildup and maintain extraction efficiency. These filters are dishwasher safe.

  1. Turn off the power supply to the hood.
  2. Locate the filter release clips and unlatch them to remove the filters.
  3. Wash the filters by hand in hot soapy water or place them in a dishwasher on a gentle cycle.
  4. Allow the filters to dry completely before re-installing them.
  5. Re-insert the filters, ensuring they click securely into place.

2. Replacing Carbon Filters (Recirculating Mode Only)

If you are using the hood in recirculating mode, the CBCF003 carbon filters need to be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage) as they cannot be washed.

  1. Turn off the power supply to the hood.
  2. Remove the grease filters as described above.
  3. Locate the carbon filters attached to the motor housing. They usually twist or clip into place.
  4. Remove the old carbon filters and dispose of them responsibly.
  5. Install new CBCF003 carbon filters, ensuring they are securely fitted.
  6. Re-install the grease filters.

3. Exterior Cleaning

Clean the exterior surfaces of the hood regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could damage the black glass finish.
